Back in 1992 I wrote a stage version of Reefer Madness which was a big hit in Chicago. Yup, that’s right - a full decade before the musical version. The production played for a year, and then was published by Chicago Plays, a local outfit trying to be the next Samuel French.

Several years later Chicago Plays went under, and I was left with a box full of Reefer Madness acting editions. I shilled the play myself for awhile, selling copies and writing contracts for performance rights.

Until now!

I’m happy to announce that Reefer Madness is once again published! And this time by a really great publisher - Playscripts.

The cool thing about Playscripts is you can not only access their catalogue online, but you can read a good chunk of all the plays they license on the website as well.
